As a person who is African-American and is a Nascar fan, I am very upset about a question like this and I believe that questions like this are one of the main reasons why so many people believe that Nascar fans are nothing more than rednecks who are close-minded!
Not all African-American people are the same, just because some do things of this nature, that does not mean that every single African-American person does! You can not place everyone in the same category because everyone is not the same. I'm sure that none of you guys would like it if I were to ask the question "Why are all Nascar drivers rednecks?" Now would you?
Please refrain from asking questions of this nature, because they show just how close minded some really are.
