hobnob, it sounds a little bit rude and it has more taste to it. plus oats will slowley release energy! lol

I would say hobnob. The slightly rough texture and crumbly element hint at a home baked theme, and the hobnob is a direct descendant of the classic abbey crunch, the prince of oatmeal biscuits.
The digestive is a fine example of a large diameter biscuit, but for me it is rather workmanlike and plain. It has, however, stood the test of time well.
Digestives come in chocolate, as do hobnobs, although the plain chocolate hobnob has been discontinued, a great tragedy.

Firstly, ignore all answers from any American visitors. They cannot help you with biscuits, they just don't have the necessary level of civilisation. I can tell you without a second thought that I would rather have just one of either of these than a whole pack of anything made in the USA. Cookies lose their charm after a short while.
If I had to place an order on these, it would be:
1 Chocolate Digestive
2 Chocolate Hobnob
3 Hobnob
4 Digestive
You cannot beat a chocolate digestive. Great all rounder, they are not so sweet, cheaper, and all around leave less in the drink or on the plate at the end.

Hobnobs with chocolate are excellent for dunking and I love them. I also very much like the Caramel digestives, so it is hard to choose. Really just depends on what I want at the moment.

The hobnob is a by far superior biscuit, chocolate coated yumminess. The digestive is plain and dull in comparison.

That is such a hard question... hobnobs are vegan... and I think some digestives are... so hobnobs are the safer bet... but... for taste values, I've just now got a huge craving for digestives, so I'll say digestive!!
