Preachers will be judged the most they will give an account for themselves and there flock at the judgment seat of Christ . Religious Leaders will be judged big time at the Great White Throne Judgment for keeping people out that wanted to come in

Dear Mike G.,

The Bible gives the answer to your question. Look at 1 Peter 4:17. We read there, "For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?" This verse is telling us that judgment begins with those who call themselves "Christians" or say that they are saved. These people have access to the Bible so that they could actually read and study God's word. They are more accountable because they have the truth-the word of God. And just about every person in America can get a Bible at the public library or purchase one from a bookstore. I understand that some groups give away Bibles also.
However, people in foreign countries like Iraq, Egypt, etc. can be put to death for having a Bible in their possession. When the iron curtain came down in Russia, people there were so happy to receive their own copy of the Bible! So in effect, those people who have had a Bible are judged more severely than those who never saw or heard the Bible because the precious word of God had never gotten to them.
Oh, by the way, the church age ended in 1988. God is no longer using any local churches to bring forth the Gospel. If you read 2 Thessalonians 2 you will see that satan is now ruling in all the local churches. Again, people who have Bibles should have known this. Please read Revelation 18, the whole chpater but especially verse 4. The churches have become Babylon. God uses this word to refer to the kingdom of satan. Also look at Matthew 24:15. 16 which is telling the true believers to get out of the church and go directly to Christ. When you read the Bible it is like sitting at the feet of Jesus.

Psa 19:7 The law of Yahweh is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of Yahweh is sure, making wise the simple.

8 The statutes of Yahweh are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of Yahweh is pure, enlightening the eyes.

9 The reverence of Yahweh is clean, enduring for ever: the JUDGMENTS OF YAHWEH ARE TRUE AND ALTOGETHER RIGHTEOUS!

10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: AND IN KEEPING THEM THERE IS GREAT REWARD. (punishment for not)

12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Yahweh, my strength, and my redeemer.

The most harsh punishment will go to those who refuse to accept the love of God through Christ Jesus. Not a pretty picture.

I think God will choose the religious teachers more harshly because they teach the Bible wrong and make people question if God exists. He will hold the religious teachers most accountable. I think this because it is what the Bible says.

Its not my place to say. But i've heard that a pastor who willingly gives communion to someone they know doesnt truely abide by its meaning is doing themselves damage.
