We all want peace on earth, but what does it mean, really? What is the practical reality of a peaceful world? What does it look like in your opinion?

Good question. Thank you. I could think of a hundred things, but let me just share a little. In my hope I see a time when we, meaning the great collective "we" of humanity, would no longer find a need to be afraid of one another any more. A world without the fear of the Other, but instead, a recognition that we are all related, all a single family. We would do what all families do, only on a global scale. We would care for those who were old or sick or in need. And we would be busy working to help one another grow. We would reach out into the Universe around us while we protected and nurtured this fragile island home, Earth.

Even the bible will tell you that the world will never be at peace. "There will be wars and rumors of wars".

I can't change it as a mere person. But we all
can pray, hope, and have faith in God to give us
peace through his son Jesus. Go back to the
bible. Start church again. Just keep reading his word, the more you read the more you learn and
hunger for more and more, that's when you know
God is ready to give you all the peace you want.
Don't give up. Keep on pushing.

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

In my mind, it is a completely tolerant society where the religious beleifs of one person don't affect the actions of another. Furthermore, everyone would be kind a law abiding. And everyone was compassionate for one another, there would be no need for government! ANARCHY FOR ALL! WOOHOO!
