We all want peace on earth, but what does it mean, really? What is the practical reality of a peaceful world? What does it look like in your opinion?

The moon is a very peaceful world... Of course, there isn't anything alive on it... So to me world peace - since most life lives at some level of competition - means the absence of life. Hence, the dead are expected to rest in peace...

I envision a world truly free- free of death, pain, hate, crime, fear, etc. People will be happy, healthy, and even plants and animals will be without imperfection.

The United Nation building has a plaque with an inscription that reads, "They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore."

That's a quote from Isaiah 2:4, and the preceding verses explain that this occurs because people are being instructed by God in how to walk in his paths. God originally purposed the world to be filled with happy perfect people who would be busy caring for the world and he will yet fulfill his purpose. :)
