I'm confused?

I've been involved in a FWB situation for the past three months. Lately, it's been back and forth with him! I'm fine with our situation but he's unsure. He thinks that sex complicates things. He keeps saying that we shouldn't be doing this but EVERY TIME we are around each other, he tries to kiss or touch me. And then we're right back to having sex. I swear he's making this WAY more complicated than it has to be. Btw, it's okay when HE initiates it but when I do, it's "We shouldn't be doing this." He gives in but not without acting like he doesn't want it. We had sex yesterday and ike clockwork, he's back on this whole "I don't think we should be doing this." I'm confused. Why's he fronting? What's the big deal? What's his problem?

Friends with benefits means that you are friends who have sex. It's not supposed to be complicated. It's supposed to be a simpler situation. It seems that you don't have a FWB relationship but rather a weird kind of sex/no sex only when he chooses type of relationship.

It sounds like he is confused about his feelings for you. He can't decide if he wants the FWB thing, or something more. It could also be that he doesn't want the relationship to include sex, but he's afraid that if he stops, you won't be friends anymore. Gotta remember, most guys like to initiate sex, but if offered, they won't turn it down either.

By him initiating sex and you can't , that's controlling you.
And by him saying *we shouldn't be doing this* and he does any way is playing games with you.
