Okay, maybe I'm a "word-nerd" but I can't tell you how many folks on here can't spell the word shepherd. It's not that hard...it comes from herding sheep...get it? HERD SHEEP, SHEEP HERDER, SHEPHERD! Am I the only one who gets irritated by the countless questions misspelling Belgian, Australian and German "Shepards"?

possibly because of the fact theist is stated in any different case to atheist. The atheist makes the ei sound like "e" extremely of "a" yet i'm no longer completely beneficial that this is the reason. possibly that's actual, as creatrix shows, that atheists are for some reason greater proper spellers. If it have been it would rather effect in atheist being spelt incorrectly greater many times as atheists use the word theist maximum many times whilst all human beings makes use of the word atheist.

We've seen similar spellings on "Chewawas" and "Doxins" and "Pinchers" ... not to mention misnomers such as "Rockweilers" and "Razorbacks" etc.
I guess many folks just don't want to use the spell checker.
You do get a pretty good profile of the types of people posting questions and answers here though.

I've never picked up on the Shepherd mis spelling. I don't normally nit pick on spellling , but it irritates me when people can't spell what kind of dog they have.
But I can't count how many times I've seen people spell Chihuahua and ShihTzu...chiwawa and shisu.

I had a lady in my clinic a while back, telling everyone her dog was a mutt... that it was a mixture of Weiner dog, and dachshund.
SAY WUT?
Also, I concur on everything you're all saying. I'm heard people think dachshund and dockson are different breeds... and pronouncing dachshund DASH HOUND?!?

I agree especially when these people are asking "how to bread their german shepard". It is scary to think they will breed when they do not even know how to spell.
