Yes. It defines not only who you are, but how you will be spending eternity. It allows for a relationship with God. Acceptance or rejection of the sacrifice Jesus made is the ultimate question. The answer will change your life forever, either way you choose to answer.

Nope, besides the fact that I don't believe, what is claiming some guy way up high on his little perch in the clouds as your savior going to help you in life. My most important desicion in life, is how I'm going to live it day by day.

And I would say the same thing even if i believed in god.

In Christianity it is. Because Christians believe that there is no way to heaven but through the acceptance of Christ as the payment for their sins. So yes, it is.

No. I think it is less important than a lot of things (even if I was religious.) My spiritual life is equal to other parts - choosing whether to marry/who to marry, for example, or which house to move into etc. Spirituality can have a lot of meaning, but its not everything.

I believe that if it's important to you, then that's what matters. Since I'm not a Christian, it's not important to me at all - but we are each free to practice our own beliefs, and walk our own paths to what is good and decent.

I think we can decide to have steak or chicken, and we can decide whether to get married or not. What we cannot do is decide that Jesus will be the Lord of our life. You either have belief or you don't.
