According to the book of Mathew you are to lock yourself in a closet and pray to god in private.

Do all of us a favor and actually follow the teachings of the bible instead of trying to get governmental enforcement of your religious beliefs.

Ironically, and I am Christian for the record, almost every war ever fought was because of RELIGION. I honestly believe that the real problem is "lack of purpose", self sufficiency, and true compassion for others (human and animals). We live in a ME ME ME society and we keep taking and taking.

I don't think church is the answer. I have issues with priests who molest and rape young men, nuns having abortions and other bizarre antics that other religions have been a part of. I am not singling out anyone or putting the blame on religion as a whole, but rather the CRUTCH that is somehow used with it. Because a rapist murdering child molester confessed his sins and is now a born again - does that make all the sins really go away? Look at our current conflict in the middle east...all religious. And even if you take the American aspect out of it, you have the internal conflicts that have been ragging for centuries. We need HUMANITY to call on, not a church to worship. There will always be different beliefs, but Humanity is universal, or at least it can be if we stop using Crutches.

Satan. Satan. Satan. Ave Satana.

Are you against me mentioning Satan?

Do you attend Satanic Temple - and do you think if more people did there would be less war and more peace?

Now that the tables are turned - did my questions offend you? If so, that might give you kinda an idea how questions like this, or how mentioning your god might be offensive to others who don't believe in or worship your god.

Athiests are not offended at the mere mention of god's name, but when you ask a person if they go to church, they see you as judging them. If they say no, most religious folk will feel superior to that person, judge them, and (if taught by their spiritual leaders) will want to encourage them to accept Jesus.

Funny- I don't think this is what Jesus had in mind. do you?

As a Non-Believer I'm not offended nor against. Though I do know why some are. I'm sure you would not want me to go on and on about my beliefs and name off the Deities I believe in, telling you that you should try going to a Pagan shrine and praising them... would you? You wouldn't be offended or against me saying these things, as most people aren't... but you wouldn't want to be told over and over that you should praise our Deities.

*Treat others as you want to be treated* If you would not want a Pagan saying these things to you about our Deities, then you should not say these things to us about yours. *smile*

I really don't care. If you were to ask me if I go to church I would just tell you no. Simple as that.

I am not against your religion or your god. I am a 'non-believer'. I respect others beliefs, and I wish most 'believers' I encounter, would do the same.

Blame on Left wingers...Souless people trying to impose their Godless conception of life on us all. They can't accept that other people hold moral and religious beliefs. For them, we are part of the past, we are what they have rejected. They are cowards, little people that preferred to run away instead of facing that they were wrong... Small people, that's what they are...
