What about the U.S. coincides with the rest of the world? Or, to look at it cynically, don't the rest of the world's eating habits conflict with ours? In every culture, there is a clash. Certain cultures don't eat meat, or eat only certain kindas of meat, or ferment deep sea creatures underground and eat them around the holidays... Everyone is different and that's good. If we were all the same and didn't have some sort of petty conflict, the world would be boring.
