Im sure thats what they were called. I used to buy them from Woolworths. They came in shapes of fruit, bananas, strawberries, etc. Im 26 so it was probably about 12 years ago. Anyone know if they are still available?

YES! I loved them. I used to buy them from the ice cream man. No they were not Nerds rip offs. They were made by the same company, Willy Wonka. They have unfortunately been discontinued. I have been looking for some too. They weren't shaped like fruits though. They were tiny and round. Runts are the fruit shaped ones, banana, strawberry, cherry, orange, lime, etc. Those are still available.

I remember dweebs! Used to buy them from the corner shop at lunchtime when I was at school. I have no idea if they still make them! Also liked Nerds, Atomic Fireballs, Gobstoppers etc, and that amazing technicolour sherbet that burned off the roof of your mouth, but tasted amazing!

Yes. I used to manage the candy department at Woolworth's. If you look online there are a lot of nostalgic candies still around, like Gold Rush and Razzles, that you can buy.

Dweebs! Damn, that takes me back! Yeah, they were amazing (ehem) at the time, of course. Just like Nerds weren't they? Anyone remember rainbow drops? Had some recently - found them out of the blue...now, I don't mean to shatter any illusions, but...they're shite. Must have been shite when we were little too, but they were bright colours eh, made up for it.

I have not seen them, but I do remember them. A mate of mine used to call me Dweeb and I called him Nerd, both of which were the name of sweets.
