In 2013, computers will be smarter than the human brain. In 2023, computers will be smarter than the whole human race. This is VERY scary. I think there will be major conflict.

I think perhaps you are confusing processing power with intelligence. Computers are not close to being able to compete with the human brain in most areas.

I think you have watched I robot one too many times. But since this question is in the R&S forum I shall interject with...no we are already being taken over by robots...Christian fundies and muslim extremists.

whats scary is there already taking jobs in the cashier business
with the invention of the u-scan machine. these are jobs best done by people. its not more convienient just cheaper for already wealthy corperations.
we need to fight back and boycott these machines
