Trying to kick a firearm out of someone’s hand is a good way to get your manhood shot off. If you think you must use a kick to disarm them, then kick them in there nuts. With your hands crossed at the wrist right hand on top, move the cross up under there wrist, roll your left hand and grab there outside wrist, with your right grab the slide or cylinder of the firearm bending there wrist so the gun point at there chest and twist up. You must make sure that your little finger blocks the hammer from moving. If the hammer comes down on your finger it will hurt like a mother so be prepared to feel the pain. If some one pulls a gun on me I will not kick them. I will shoot them. I know this did not answer your question but it was the best I could do without showing you. Ask this question in the hunting section and see what answers you get.

I wouldn't kick a gun out of someone's hand. Depending on your viewpoint and your suicidal tendencies, that's either a really good way to get yourself shot or a stupid way to die. If someone was pointing a gun at me, I'd give them my wallet, car keys, purse or whatever. If, however, I felt that my well-being was in imminent danger, I would close with them (probably channel them to my inside) and get control of the gun in close.
*If* for some reason you did need to kick a gun out of someone's hand, and *if* you were fast enough to kick before they pull the trigger (maybe if you're in kicking range and they get momentarily distracted by something, looking away for a moment, and you don't think you can close before they look back at you)--then the wrist or the hand might be good targets (pretty small, though...) You could also try the outside of the forearm. If I remember my pressure points correctly, there's a pressure point between the ulna and radius. If you get hit hard enough there your hand tends to loosen. If, however, you kick the person on their inside forearm, their hand may actually tighten. To see what I mean, turn your palm to face you, then dig your thumb into the inside of your forearm and watch your hand close.
Again, I wouldn't advise kicking a gun. It's just not practical self-defense, no matter what the sport taekwondo people will tell you or what the movies depict. Better to get in close where you'll have more control over the gun and over the person's body. A martial art that teaches joint locks, arm bars, and such will probably have good advice for you. Talk to someone who does a grappling art and see what they say.

I would imagine it really doesn't matter where you target. If you try kicking a gun out of an attackers hand you most likely will be shot, depending on your skill level and/or distance from them. There are other variables to consider that will also have an impact on the situation, ie. weather, terrain, other attackers, and whether you are with another person.
If you were able to actually have a kick fast enough and accurate enough, you may also just redirect the gun at another person and have them get shot. But odds are that you won't be fast enough as a kick will take more time to reach a higher target than your hands would. Plus, it takes less time to pull a trigger than it would to hit the gun with your foot.
I don't think it should even be attempted.

seems such as you responded your question already: pass with the 1911. There are some on GunBroker for basically 500 dollars, yet you may desire to truly seem. A sleeper contained in the 1911 stable is the Argentine Sistema 1927. returned in 1926/1927, the Argentine militia won license from Colt to offer their very own in-living house version of the 1911. Colt despatched their engineers right down to establish the tooling, specifying that the Sistema 1927 could be a precise, approved replica of the Colt 1911, as much as and inclusive of utilizing precisely the comparable sort of steel! The Sistema 1927 isn't extremely extraordinarily, even with the undeniable fact that that's all Colt spec, meaning maximum Colt areas will only drop in (different than for individuals who're designed to prefer installation, like the secure practices). with the aid of fact maximum individuals think of the Sistema 1927 is like the Ballester Molina or the Llama -- close to a 1911 yet no longer precisely, the Sistema isn't in very extreme call for...this means you may p.c.. up an exceedingly good one at a value critically under 500 dollars. And in case you prefer to swap it utilizing aftermarket areas designed for the 1911 (consisting of Wilson wrestle, Chip McCormick, Les Baer, Ed Brown, or King's Gun Works), you may trick out that previous conflict horse and turn it right into a great working guy's gun. savour.

you want to kick the INSIDE of the wrist with an inside to outside kick (also called a crescent kick) with the same leg as the opponents hand that's holding the gun. because the hand will go straight to the side, if the gun does happen to discharge, the bullet will be unlikely to hit you.
unlike kicking from the outside to in where there is more of your body exposed and the bullet has more opportunity to strike you if the gun does discharge.
but it is better to control the opponents hand by getting in close (by offering a wallet or roll of money, what ever it is the opponent is demanding.) and grabbing the hand and wrist in case that the opponent recovers from the attack and working in for a pain compliance technique such as a wristlock to keep the control or redirection of the weapon.

dont try to kick the gun out of someones hand
dont try and get in close to grapple with them for the gun
cry like a little girl and beg for mercy, give them your wallet and all your money
that makes them feel strong, and they will be less edgy and less likely to shoot you
technically if-(and god knows how this would arise) you had no choice
kick with the ball of the foot to the trigger finger-back of hand
if you hit the finger it may break, and be unable to pull, certainly you cant pull if that area of the hand is kicked hard enough
however, bear in mind, there is no support for the target except their arm muscles, its very unlikely you arent going to be able to seriously hurt them
trying to kick someone in the hand with a gun is probably rather suicidal, its more likely you may get a chance to grapple, but dont try and do this,
if an opening arises that gives an opportunity, either you have kicked the gun or you have managed to grab the arm or body then attack the nearest kneecap as brutally as possible
aiming to turn the person so their back is towards you
then take appropriate action
if you are asking where to kick, or how to disarm someone with a gun, then its best you dont bother
i have met chinese masters i have seen perform superhuman feats
if someone pulled a gun on them they would beg for mercy
trying to fight someone with a gun is dumb

If you are at kicking range, you will be dead before you kick it. if I had a gun aimed at you I would fire as soon as you did anything that resembled offensive action.
practice with a cap gun, you will be 'shot' every time.
there are ways of getting offline and using the hands to grip the wrist of the opponent and twist the gun around to the outside, trapping their finger inside it but it is very close range and cannot be learned over the net and my description is only basic and without pictures it is meaningless. .
and I dont rely on it to save my @ss, I prefer to rely on avoidance.

Nowhere!
Remember self defence if about keeping yourself safe. Kicking a loaded gun that is aimed in your direction will get you killed. Instead, hand over your wallet, car keys, whatever they want fom you and then at least you get to walk away...

the wrist ,the tenden in the wrist will throw the gun to the right ,if the gunmans right handed and vica versa if left handed, plus he wont be able to pull the trigger if he does manage to keep hold of the gun, because the golfball size lump where you kicked him wont let him pull his fingers back, so if you fail to release the gun after the kick you should have more time than you think to spark him.
