Because of all the WMDs that Saddam had.
No, wait a minute, because we wanted to spread democracy.
On second thought, it was to pursue the War of Terrorism.
Wait, it was because we went in and we have to stay the course.
Hang on, gimme a sec...

I don't really know.

This was the lie that did it:

"Knowing these realities, America must not ignore the threat gathering against us. Facing clear evidence of peril, we cannot wait for the final proof -- the smoking gun -- that could come in the form of a mushroom cloud."
-- George Bush, lieing to the nation about Iraq, October 7, 2002

Because al-qaida has a substantial amount of its assets in Iraq, believe it or not. And Saddam was a major proponet of voilence against Jews. According to Saddam's Air Minister they did have WMD's they were transported to Syria in late 2002, don't believe me why not read his book... Yes, Bush is not the most charismatic president we've had but at least he a little thing called morals and ethics. Please don't believe all these uneducated people that say that Bush lied and we are only there for oil cause with that were the case why has gas risen in price? Iraq share of world oil production is about 6-7% which is tiny in comparison to Saudi Arabia's 72% who by the way we are on very good terms with. Things like this just make me laugh:
-Bush likes seeing his own troops dying..not sure why
-Bush is oil hungry, because he wants to make more money for HIMSELF
Then it makes me sad to see all the people educated by the media. People who know nothing about the outside world beyond what ever the glowing box in their living room tells them.

There are a few reasons actually:
+Bush likes seeing his own troops dying..not sure why
+Bush has brainwashed the country into believing his false "war"
+Bush is no longer is pursuing Al Qaeda, the ones who killed 3,000+ of our OWN people
+Bush is oil hungry, because he wants to make more money for HIMSELF

That's about all I can think of at this time...
