Well this superintendent reasons with students to advise to
play more sports. We have meeting in the summer,
voluntary; one in october for a check of winter clothing we
have a fashion school nearby , and another last meeting in
march on hygiene for swimming and camping. I would
imagine the important part is to get a personal dispenser,
towels that are easy to clean(not much about beach time)
and personal items in general for beginnings of maturation.
Some people need to learn about deodarants , lotions, and
vitamins so the coaches are the people in most schools with
this duty to give realistic information. There are many types
of middle schools 6-8, 5-9,9-10, 6-10 whatever the ages
are varied for some students that mature sooner, they may
have established favorite soaps, and lotions, perfumes,
whatever their personal needs a good school has people
who will happily advise you. Showers can be fun and a
chance to clean up and break up the long hours of sitting.

nope it is now against the law. which is cool because whenever my mother was in school they had to show the gym teacher that they did not have anything on (open the towel) even if they did not want to so if try to make you through the biggest fit yell and just go crazy if works people notice and they will back of. well good luck with your decision

I don't think public schools require showers anymore and any level -- I did when I was in school a hundred years ago ;-) & we hated it
