Never is it written in the scripture that if a woman wears a dress she will be saved. It says that women should dress like women. In this culture that means lots of different kinds of clothing. Jim

Women "should" wear whatever they like!

Personally, though, I think women shouldn't be afraid to wear dresses and skirts... it is more unusual for a woman to wear a skirt now than trousers - and in the past it would definitely be the other way round.

We should not be afraid to show our femininity. It can show power - wearing a skirt doesn't necessarily make you seem any more weak or submissive than wearing a man suit!

Why just the one?

Personally, I feel that the culottes are very much under-rated (how delightful a well-turned ankle can be!).

Dresses are also delightful, if impractical. And they have to well cut or they tend to look like sacking.

Skirts, yes, especially the pencil skirt have much to reccomend them.

Only if men should always wear ties! LOL! People, women and men, should wear what they please. And in a lot of cases that is nothing at all (my preference, but sometimes it is just too darn cold!)! I still wonder why it is OK for men to go shirtless but not women. I also want to know why breast feeding your baby in public is considered obscene? Would God object? Seems like it would be perfectly natural. Why would you want to cover up what God gave you?

I like skirts and dresses, but pants and shorts are ok too. Women should be modest and respectful on the inside first, and then let it show on the outside.

No. Its called freedom; we can wear what we want, just like you can. Some people don`t like to wear skirts and dresses and some love it. I`m kinda in between. I wear them, but not everyday. Its my choice and everyone should get to choose what they wear. We`re not first graders who aren`t old enough to pick out their own cloths.

Women should always wear what pleases them.

Should they? Not unless they want too.

There's no scripture in the Holy Bible that says, "Women, though shall not wear pants or shorts!"

It does tell us to be modest in our dress. i.e. clothing. It is up to the individual lady, what modest means.

No...because women are people too, with the same rights as men and we can wear what ever we want, whenever we want, (within reason of course).

I think that there should be a distinction in the way men and women dress, because men and women are different.
