Everyone's got floaties. In the womb, when your eyes form, stuff gets trapped in the fluid in your eyes and those are the floaties. Looking up and down will dispell them faster than left to right, since left to right is a normal eye movement. I've never heard that you should see a doctor for them, and generally they don't bother people.

they are called vitreous floaters and almost everyone has some, but if they are very large or seem to get worse or you develope more or develope flases of lights or any visual distortion you need to see an Ophthalmologist right away.
