If you have 4 to 6 hours before the game then load up on some carbs. Pasta is good. If not then eat light, not pasta. Maybe just soup for now, you can fill up after the game. HAVE A BANANA just before the game, the potassium will help your muscles to respond to nerve impulses. Keep hydrated and play safe.

First how long after your meal is the game, leave at least 4 hours for your stomach to empty otherwise overexcercise will "return to sender". As previous posts said, any pasta will release carbs slowly over time, if you need a sugar boost, use an energy rink but not one with taurine or guarana.

It all depends on what your meaning is:

Big game could be a sport you are participating in, in which case you want a meal high in carbohydrates for energy.

Big game could mean you bagged an Elephant and want to know how to prepare it for a meal. I would recommend grilled with garlic and soy sauce

Big game could mean you are watching your favorite team on TV and you want to know what goes best on the TV tray for the evening. In which case I would recommend a good burger, some chips, and lots of beer.

well if the 'game' is tomorrow then eat pasta, potato, tuna or steak

this is what body builders eat, dancers eat, footballer eat and the steak is what greyhound dogs eat before a race.

good luck with that!!!!

A physically challenging game calls for carbohydrates. A mentally challenging one calls for protein.

They say that you should load up on carbs before any big sporting event that way you'll have lots of calories to burn and won't get easily tired.
