It is cool that I wouldn't have to pay for music like itunes, but I have heard that it gives your computer viruses. Is there maybe something else that is better? Thanx!

Yes it does it is full of virus and spyware i had 4 virus after installing it get Ares it is the best i have found ,its free,fast,easy and safe

Most of the time yes, you should use something like Ares or Soulseek, I've been using them for years and I haven't gotten one virus from either. Hope that helps :-)

if you have antivirus, not a problem, as long as you dont download really small files, check the kb's or mb's of a file before you download, example, if you are downloading photoshop, most of the programs in the list have really small file sizes, i.e. 200 kbs, but in a real application, they have usually around in the hundreds as in 500 mb
