It sounds as though you have a more serious problem somewhere. But, I'm sure as long as you look healthy and don't appear to be causing yourself any harm, the gym will not interfere with your workout. They would definitely not report you to a doctor unless they have to call an ambulance for you!

No body can fatten you up accept for yourself. It is up to you to take care of yourself which you should want to.

The gym may talk with you about your unhealthy weight but they have no right under the law to call your doctor.

Doctors should not frighten you, they are there to help. Change your view on this matter and get a check up. I am sure if doctors frighten you then a dentist in your mind does the same.

You only get one set of adult teeth, take care of them, and also find a dentist to get your teeth checked and cleaned. If you can take steps to go to a gym and take care of your body then you should be able to make the same steps to take care of your health, mental health and teeth. If this is difficult, by al l means, take someone with you.

Best of luck.

For one - the gym do not have the right to record your progress - only if you let them.

For two - how do they know who you doctor is? (unless you had to fill that in on the joining form?!)

They will only report you if you do your exercises naked with a dumb bell up yer backside singing nazi marching songs whilest masturbating with aardvark !

Don't worry about it mate - they won't report you - if they did you could sue the crap outta them !

often gyms dont actually care and to report to a doctor would require a certain amount of intelligence which (not to offend) most gyms do not need.

what i would worry about is why you are askigthis question it seems that you want permision to lose too much weight.

No one here is going to do that (at least they shouldnt)

if you lose too much weight then yes doctors will be involved as it is sooooo dangerous.

take care

mate if your body fat falls to less than 5% you should not worry about the gym reporting you,you should be worried about your own health

No. It is ALMOST impossible to have too low body fat. If you were too skinny, then maybe they would tell YOU to go to the doctor. But as far as body fat, no.

I wouldn't have thought so, they might advise you, but they wouldn't refer you to a doctor.

nope,.... as body builders get down to about 2-3% when competing although it's not healthy to maintain such a low percentage body weight
