You'll have to keep doing it blue. Even the stuff they say is PERMANENT does fade to green within a few weeks, so you can have a friend comb some blue back into it.

Make sure it is OK with your place of employment dress code. I had to cut my hair or get fired. :(

no matter what color you dye it, it will fade inevitably

blue will fade to a greenish gray, so you just have to pick the right shade. Try Special Effects at Hot Topic, they have some great shades of blue, go for a more violet blue than a greenish, so it wont be as bad when it fades

My sister did that but instead of blue it was black. It was okay for a while, but her hair is too thin. I guess you could say her hair is anorexic b/c it's so thin. Just don't keep dying it and use special shampoo for colored hair. You won't have to keep dying it blue unless you really want to and if you don't like the outcome, don't dye it by yourself again. Get to a salon.

Special Effects would be the best in my opinion, however blue based colours tend to last a shorter time than pink/red based ones so you might find you have to re-do your hair every few weeks.
