Watch Kurasawa films over and over until the answer becomes clear... for as long as it takes. If you quit, it's because you lack discipline.

You can do this in two simple steps.

Step 1: Find a society where you are treated like a machine or a tool, where you are forced to serve a master's whim unconditionally and without comment or question, and where you must live under the costant fear that at any moment you may be ordered to die, possibly at your own hand, for no reason at all.

Step 2: Try to survive day by day.

The fictional part will come in if you believe that you should have personal freedoms, time to yourself, and that you actually deserve anything more than you have been allowed by your master. Have fun!

Hmm... it's best if you actually learn martial art from a japanese guru (like ju jitsu or kenjutsu). At Japan I heard they would really discipline their students hard. Well, you can try joining the army for afew years too, there discipline is really stress on. But remember to practice the discipline too when you're not training.

The most convenient way to become more disciplined is to join the army. You ain't gonna get samurai discipline anytime soon, though... considering there aren't any more samurai existing in our more modern times.

have asian parents lol. no really go into the woods and meditate for days ,months, even minutes but bring a lot of blunts with you. second step my samurai is to test your discipline by going to a strip club and get a lap dance if your d**k gets hard you have fail, my unworthy friend. The last test of samurai discipline is not to masterbate if you master that then your now a master samurai.

You must first journey to find yourself in the realm of spirits. Once there you will duel with yourself in an epic battle between your conscious and unconscious being. Upon defeating yourself you will attain the Naginata of Sorrow, thus begining your journey of one of the last Samurai.
