I already totally support stem cell research, but I was really impressed by that news. I really hope a cure for MS and other spinal afflictions is in the very near future.

God Bless You

I was already pro-stem cell research, but this is great! It's a a HUGE stepping stone towards stem cell research proving beneficial to humans. After all, dogs are a bit more complex than lab mice.

Hopefully America can fund stem cell research after Jorge Dubya leaves and we don't get another Republican in the Blanca Casa.

It doesn't specify if the stem cells were embryonic stem cells.

There has been successes with stem cell tests. But not with embryonic stem cell tests.

Christians don't believe in dissecting live embryos. God sent His Word and healed us of all our diseases. By His stripes we were healed.

Besides....scientists are finding that human stem cells from mature adults are just as useful as those harvested from embryos.

No. Stem cell research is fine and always has been for Christians. Again-what we are against is farm raising babies to sell for body parts. That is what we are against, and has nothing to do with stem cell research.

the issue is NOT stem cells

the issue is whether embirionic stem cells can and should be harvested

there are lots of sourses of non embionic stem cells, arguable more stable and less likely to become cancerous
