In religious school during music, we learned this song/prayer (I don't know if it was an actual prayer, but I'm pretty sure it was) that I need to know the name of. I've tried to find it on google but had no success. It talked about angels all around us and I remember one of their names was Michael - one of the angels was in front, one behind, on to the left, one to the right, and one above. Does anyone know the name of this prayer and the angels that are in it? Thanks sooo much.

Also, what do the angels represent?

To my right Michael and to my left Gabriel, in front of me Uriel and behind me Raphael, and over my head G-d's Shekhinah.

In answer to your question as to what the angels represent:
Michael means "one like G-d"
Gabriel means "Master from G-d"
Uriel/Ariel/Oriel means "Light of G-d"
Raphael means "Healing of G-d"
Shekhina refers to the dwelling presence of G-d.

This isn't a liturgical prayer, it's part of the folk tradition, and as such doesn't have a formal name. It's a brief prayer of protection said before the Sh'ma and going to sleep at night.

To my right Michael and to my left Gabriel, in front of me Uriel and behind me Raphael, and over my head God's Shekhinah.

These are the four archangels.

Look for Kate Bush's version ("Lily" from The Red Shoes) for a variant.
