Well, using math you can find out...
you have a 1/x chance of liking a certain person and there is a 1/x chance they like you, where x=the amount of people you know that are of the opposite sex...
therefore, you multiply the fractions and you get 1/(x*x) so, if there are 10 girls you know, there is a 1/100 chance that you both like each other.

well unless you have asked them if they liked you and that actually said no then i dont know what to tell you, but i think most of the time if you make if obviois by flirting and they get the drift they will send signals. maybe they like you but are too scared to tell you.

well... it's different every time... sometimes they do happen to like you... other times... not so much... or maybe you aren't their type... even if you think their yours... yes it sucks... but you learn from it and move on.
