Is it wrong to pray for something like asking God to bring me and this child's mother together so we could be a family. I pray that she is the woman I have been searching for and we get along very naturally and easy. I keep thinking this kid needs a father in his life. Maybe I'm wrong but I still pray for him and his family.
Is this an awful prayer request?
I haven't found anyone in my area and I have a giant heart for kids.
I would love for you all to help pray for me.

You can pray for whomever you like. God doesn't bias against anyone. Although, you shouldn't be praying that you become the right person (It's a little selfish) but that the child and his mother find the right person for them. If it is you, that's great. If not, the family is still going to do well.
You may pray that you also find someone to share your life with and whom you can make happy.

U keep praying and God we answer. If ur heart want them then what's stopping u? There comes a time when u have to move in blind faith; u cannot waste time asking question - u just have to move! Cause the min u start thinking, the deceptive intelligence will remind u of how many other things didn't work n u will stop urself. Good luck

How do you know that there is a child here, have you spoken to the child or atleast heard the child in the background? You could be giving this female money for someone who does not exist other then herself....
Also, be sure that you know what you are doing, do not be quick to jump into things and now think that you are in love and that this is the girl for you. If you two have never met then its very dificult to say weather she is the one for you because you two havent spent any quality time together...Things may change once you do..

Not at all.
We pray in our Church for people we don't know.
Especially the politicians; Whom need lots of prayer!

sounds to me like you are trying to use the child to get to the mother .... nothing wrong with prayer if it is intended for the right purpose... if not it will not be answeared.
