Jesus was a liberal if I ever saw one. He would have been a democrat.

Well, I am not a snake preacher, but I will admit that I do not know how Jesus would vote assuming that He was still here in the flesh. Voting and activities like that are way below Him. Let's say that He were here and He did choose to vote - then I think He would look into the hearts of the individuals running whether they be Republican or Democrat or Independant, and vote for specific souls. By the way, He doesn't have to vote because He already knows what the outcome will be. He uses men to accomplish His plan for this world. Mind boggling as it may seem, He has all of the answers if we will but trust Him.

Hello. Very good question. During the time that Jesus walked the earth, voting was referred to as "casting lots" as well as gambling. Whether or not these two are the same thing is beyond me. Even though, if you think about it, it's all a gamble as to whether or not a decent person will be elected when we vote.
Whether or not Jesus would vote democrat or republican is a question only he could answer. Why would he have voted for any human when he knew that he was the Son of God (still is, by the way)? I would think that humans would pale in comparison, therefore obliterating the need for him to vote for one.

by way of minority status extra often than not. additionally, some Republicans "declare" to be good, total-hearted Christians yet would not carry a finger to help the minority non secular team. Democrats, on the different hand, are extra in touch approximately ALL people, even minorities particularly of focusing on letting huge employer do what they like and making the wealthy richer. Democrats might extra in all threat improve government spending to help those minority communities, that's often why they vote for a Liberal candidate as adversarial to Conservative.

Actually I think Jesus probably would sit out most of our elections, I think he would be an Independent, this is the type of question that really doesn't have an answer, because everyone is going to have their own opinion, Republicans are going to say he would vote for Bush because he is a Christian, Democrats would say he would vote for Kerry because of the poor or something like that, I honestly don't know, I guess Bush

Jesus said " I am no part of the world, just as you are no part of the world." He wouldn't have voted or gotten involved in politics at all, because he looked to his heavenly father for guidance, not imperfect human rulers.
And no, he wouldn't start his own party either. When the Jews came to him and tried to make him a king, he refused and fled because he knew that was not God's purpose for him.

Looking back at Jesus, he was a very liberal fellow who would show love and compassion instead of heartless judgement. Based on that, I'd have to say he'd vote either Democrat or Green.

I think His heart aches over it all. I think He would vote for those who would choose to do the will of His Father. He would choose for peace on earth and good will toward man. I don't see that much in either party.

He would call out BOTH parties for the snakes they harbor. He wasn't very nice to the politicians of his OWN time either. Pharasees and Sadducees were both described by Him as snakes and viper's brood.

According to Christianity, Jesus came to change things. Democrats are usually singing the praises of positive change while Republicans are screaming "STATUS QUO!"
So... I'd say Democrat.

Let's see -- would Jesus have given tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans (like the Republicans) or would he have wanted in increase in the minimum wage that would help the poorest (like the Democrats)?
Gee -- that's a tough one.
