is Diet coke or pepsi bad for health? can it effect me in any way?

Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi contain aspertame which can hinder your progress if you're trying to lose weight on a low carb diet. They both also contain a lot of caffiene which can constrict blood vessels (not good!).

You're probably much better off choosing another beverage with less preservatives and caffiene when it comes to your health. Of course, if you drink them in moderation, I'm sure not much harm is done.

yes its simply bad for you diet or not.
the chemicals that are used to create aparatame are apparently from the same family as formaldyhyde, and essentially when asparatme heats to your bodys temp. it beings to preserve your organs (not in a good way)

the only drink truly good for you is water and too much of that can be bad. juices contain a lot of sugar, as well as preservatives; teas contain sugar or caffein. if i'm going to die because of a drink, i hope diet coke kills me - i love it.

I stopped drinking soda altogether, last may. I feel better, but I gotta admit I do enjoy the taste of sodas.

It might have had more to do with the heat, but it made my stomach twist.
