I want to buy a 42 in plasma, I found 2 that will be on sale on black friday. One is a panasonic and the other is a Toshiba. They have the same features, but the panasonic is silver and $1299 the other is black and $1199.

if they have the exact features, go with the cheaper one unless color is important to you ..have fun on black friday, i cant wait!!!

It depends on the look you want. If you want the television to be a centrepiece, and to add to the decor of your room, get the silver one. But I personally would save the hundred dollars and buy the black Toshiba, as a television to me is an entertainment device, not a decoration.

I'd buy the Toshiba just because it's black. I have a silver Sony and it's just not as cool looking.

depends on which would go in your house better...I would say go for the black and save yourself $100 plus tax. But then again, the silver plasmas are really cool looking. Good luck. :)

check out consumer reports I think the Panasonic got better ratings. if you are only concerned about color then buy the one that matches your dvd player and other equipment.
