yeah, if you're an ectomorph (tall/skinny) you gotta work harder than all the other body types to get muscle growth. these folk have almost no problem keeping fat off.

if you're a mesomorph, you gotta like...work out a little bit and you'll get substantial growth. not hard at all for these folk to put on muscle (shorter and stocky build) these ppl may have some problems with keeping fat off, but not as much as endomorphs

if you're an endomorph, you will have a little bit of a gut around your college years or earlier, and you tend to be shorter. these ppl have to work the hardest to keep the fat off. muscle growth is easier for this group than ectomorphs, but a little harder than it is for mesomorphs.

as for workouts, any kind of workout is good for burning away fat if you work hard enough at it. for building mucle, it takes heavier weights and a little less cardio. for serious muscle building, about 15 - 20 minutes of cardio a day is ideal. and i could go into greater detail, but my answer's to frikken long as it is. :-p

If these things were true, by your measurements I would guess hourglass. But I really don't put much faith into all that crap, I think it's just something they put in magazines to sell more copies to diet minded people. You CAN do exercises that tone individual areas of the body, but the absolute best way to get in shape and tone everything is to do about 30 minutes a day of any kind of cardio, and mix it with a little strength training. This can either be done in the form of weight lifting, or a resistance program like yoga or pilates.

There are specific workouts to target certain areas to give you a shape you want, but I've never hear of a workout for a particular body type. If you want a more hourglass figure, for example, you should do a lot of cardio, shoulders, upper back, chest, glutes, and hip exercises.
