This is not a prom! It's a wedding. Weddings do not have themes. A wedding is to celebrate a lifelong commitment that you and your spouse make to eachother; it's not just an excuse to have a big expensive party!
No wonder the divorce rate is so high.

Just depends when....besides you can do whatever ya like it's your wedding.
My son is getting married in December (yep) next month. They are getting married at the end of December on New Year's Eve weekend on Dec 30th. They are going with New Year's theme....Black/White wedding. Black gowns on girls. Black tuxes (with tails) and white shirts - guys. Two mamas in black too. Champagne glasses and Black/Silver/white elegance. Fun and nice. My brother got married mid December and they went with Red for Christmas ...was pretty. I was in a wedding once in December and we all wore hunter green - all was decked out with fresh live pines...live trees and wintery theme...like foresty was sooo pretty.
Lovely time to be married ...wishing you the best of luck and the best of weather too! Blessings allllllllll over you and Congrats!
I'm sure it will be just lovely no matter what you decide.

Whatever the both of you have fun doing... it doesn't matter when it is. The best wedding I ever saw they did a Rocky Horror Picture Show theme, everyone had a ball, and the pictures were GREAT!
Have fun, it's just a day in your life, after all.

I had a hard enough time trying to think of my own.
I guess you can think of your favorite place, state, time in history, book, or winter vacations stop and work from there. You can also use certain designs as a wedding theme such as horizontal stripes, pearls, doves, or peacock feathers.

how about a Parisian theme, wonderland, or my fave is a theme whichi s wintery: all glassy, sparkly with shades of whites, blues and such and the use of crystal as though you are in a winter wonderland! also do something such as a ball related theme with lots of whites, cream and red roses used, crystal centerpieces or if you like something romantic do something with sophistication in mind...

make it an outdoor wintry wedding. Get married in the snow and wear a muff on your hands and have a beautiful white fluffy coat with sparkles
Lots of canldles, twinkle lights, snow, ice sculptures, sparkles and heaters.

A prison theme is always fun. Have the groom wear a ball and chain around his ankle and he can write your name on the ball.
