i smoke but girls that i know say i should quit for good. what im i saying about myself to girls when they find out that im a smoker

I smoke, and should quit too. Too me, it just means you made a mistake long ago, and you can't kick the habit....a hard habit to kick. It says we don't care enough about ourselves, but it doesn't mean we are bad people.

Great post! Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I've ever done in my life, and I thought I wasn't addicted!
Here's what I tried before finding success: hypnosis, those fake cigaretts, the nicotine patch, and group therapy....none worked.

Your giving them the impression that you obviously don't care about your heath right now and for your future as well. You obviously know it's bad for your health, but you don't take the risks seriously. If you did take them seriously you would be trying to do your best to break the habit no matter how tough it is. Smoking is not only bad for your health, it stinks as well. It's in your clothes, your hair, your house, furniture, and the list go on. I don't smoke, but I know what it's like to have an addiction to something. It's not easy to break the habit, but with persistence and determination you can overcome this habit.

It's a sign that you will keep a habit even if it's bad for you.
Also, an indication of a rebelious side. Not caring about other's 'air space'
Here's a secret that smokers don't know or don't care to know...
To a non-smoker...You stink. You may think that you don't because of a recent shower or cologne, but you're wrong.

Smoking doesnt say anything about personality. I personally think. Its just that some people preferr to date non-smokers. So to each their own. If you like smoking then keep smoking. If a girl is interested in you then she will accept you like you are.

You saying that u stink and u don't give a crap about ur health. Smoking will kill u. I work in the medical field n I see so much junk on a x-ray of folks lungs. So, try to stop while u can.

UR ADDICTED AND CANT ESCAPE A SIMPLE CIGARETTE you have an oral fixation and u cant adapt to life without smoking. you stink, nasty teeth stains, ur car stinks and ur clothes, wrinkles, smelly fingers. one who always has to have something in her hand w/out realizing it

i agree with webballs. but like my uncle says you are going to die from something like a car accident or a drive-by shooting, etc. Light it up a take a slow drag cause most likely you wont die from cancer.
