Where can I purchase movie theatre quality Jalapeno slices? Like the ones they serve at Marcus or AMC?

I have tried several Jalapeno brands and most of the time I get mush...or some strange flavor...or they are not hot at all. It seems like no matter what movie theatre I go to, I get good, crunchy, hot, jalapeno slices. Does anybody know the brands that supply the movie theatres? and if so, where I can purchase them? Yes, I am a nacho lover!!!

Theaters buy their nacho sauce and jalapenos in large cans. I'm not sure of the brand name. You can find these at Sams Club, Costco, etc. If you have a Super store (WalMart, Meijer, Kroger) nearby, look in the section that has the institutional size containers of mayo, ketchup, beans, etc. You will usually find the jalapenos on the lower shelf in a greenish color can (1 gallon I think) Once opened, you should store the peppers in a very big glass jar as they will spoil rapidly if left in the can.

I buy one of these every other year for my son during the holidays. On alternating years he gets 1 gallon of hot sauce.

Most movie theaters (in california, at least) get supplied by Casa Solana brang. But, Oberto brand in the ethnic foods aisle will be just as good, because i'm assuming that you're not going to make nachos for 450 people. If that's not what you're looking for, you can get pickled jalapeños at mexican specialty foods stores.

Definitely Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, probably Star Trek. X-Men Orgins" Wolverine, Terminator Salvation, Angels and Demons and Public Enemies will most likely wait until DVD unless someone wants to take me and pay. Be nice if they would take me to dinner too. LOL The rest I couldn't care much less about.

Go to a store that sells restaurant supplies and food....like Smart & Final, Costco, Sam's Club. I made nachos for my office one time and got everything from Smart & Final. They came out great!

Every grocery store sells them in the ethnic aisle, by the taco stuff.
