Christians are always talking about their praying. I see plenty of Christians making BIG mistakes choosing a mate, raising their children, dealing with substance abuse, financial, sexual and health problems. What good is the praying?

J. P. a person who blames God when things go wrong is not a Christian.
It is true that some people seem to become more religious when things start going bad for them or they suffer a lost of a loved one. I have seen this happen, but it does not make them worst or better than anyone.
Christians pray and non christians pray also, this does not guarantee that life will be all roses however. There are no guarantees in life and no free lunch. We pray because we believe and you don't know what we pray for, maybe we pray for poor souls like you to come to know the truth or seek the truth or for world peace, or for God to show us the way we are to live our llives and we ask it in Jesus' name Amen.

Yeah, funny, you named normal human errors as something only Christians do. There are plenty of bad non-Christian marriages, substance abuse problems, finacial problems and health issues. IN fact, the person I know who has the worst health problems in the world (how she's still breathing, I'll never know) is pagan! The worst marriage I"ve ever seen was because a Muslim man beat his wife (my cousin). You may say, "See, she's Christian and she married him" but she got out of that marriage despite his threatening her and the kids with a gun. That takes strength! You only see what you want to see because to open your eyes to the fact that CHristians are human just like you would mean that it ruins your little self-hatred image of them! Praying is good for the soul. Even Wiccans pray in the form of meditation and some of the spells they preform. Buddists meditate (form of prayer) but I don't see you getting on their case about it! Get over yourself and see what's really going on. Atheism and paganism is becoming the fastest growing belief systems. That means that soon, many people who make mistakes will be atheists and pagans, still human! Stop picking on Christians unless you have statistics, proof, or something beyond your hate-filled drivel to back it up!

Nobody is immune from making mistakes larry. It is just that people like to revel in the things that go wrong for those of us who are trying to do the right things. Just because we say we are christians does not mean we believe we are above making mistakes. Ease up Larry, life is short.As we only Go around this earth once, we should make an effort to tolerate everyone.

I am alive because of prayer. I have a beautiful granddaughter because my daughter prayed when she had been told by experts that she would never concive. My son is alive when he should have died. I could give more details but sufficient to say that no one could convince me that prayer doesn't work just like no one could convince me that the ocean doesn't exist. I have seen it and I know that it is real on both counts.

he bought it because hebelieves this is the perfect car.....
but he got accident with this car...

this is the same example of religion... or you may say chirstianity ...
chiritianity guides nicely.. but this is the people who forget the teachings.......... and lost their... ways...
and doing wrong decisions...
if someone not feel perfection in chiristianity i being Muslim......
invite him to learn about Islam..
becuase.. this is the perfect religion.................
and in this religion you'll find.. the reasons.. why Muslims.. are bound to do something.... limited in all aspects of life..

she is being abused by her husband.. everytime..........
so my friend.......... this Muslim.. guy is not following Islam...
otherwise...... he will never be able to even touch his wife with intention of hitting her.. to give her pain...
if you want to find out why i am saying like this........ try to learn more and more deeply about Islam....
coz............. Islam.. is the only religion.. which gives the solution of All the aspect or affairs of life......
........... coz Islam.. is religion of whle Mankind.... or whole Human beings...
