I have seen a number of christians on here saying they hate non believers and that your confused if you don't believe and that God and Jesus hate you if don't believe. I might be wrong but I though Jesus said "turn the other check" and "love your enimies" I don't think many christians on here can remember what love and tolerance is, which is a shame considering thats what christianity stands for.

Not all christians are bad, but these people who shout out abuse before thinking what would jesus do are not real christians.

Good point. I'm a Catholic Christian, and I am ashamed to call anyone a Christian that would do that sort of thing. Jesus does not hate you if you don't believe, but you shouldn't be stubborn about not believeing. Do some research, don't just write off Christianity.
Thanks for the question!

What really attempts to confuse people about the Kingdom that Christ set up is the over reliance on the cultural setting in which 'eternal truths' visited us as a man. i.e. When Christianity sometimes expresses itself as a religion, by mixing the old wine of a cultural expression of God with the pure wine of God's own expression, the resultant toxic dogma binds a whole bunch of people across a spectrum of denominations to a way of life that actually makes Christ weep.
In every denomination, whether high church or low church, roman or ecumenical, pentecostal or traditional, there are many believers who quietly go about their calling of Christ to serve God in their gifting and ability and they often get tarred with the same brush that 'the judgementals' use on the Church as a whole. In other words, the wheat and the tares that Christ said would be sorted and separated at the end of time co-exist in both secular and religious organisations. The organisations themselves are not necessarily at fault but the people who often gain power over assemblies and councils within them are either like the virgins who trimmed their lamps or they are not.
The question therefore who is 'in' and who is 'out' of the Kingdom of Christ is determined by how your heart measures with the truth that God brought to us with His own lips and not necessarily with the often 'cultural' truths that man has created as the 'true religion'.
If more people who confess to be Christians were to study the words of Christ more closely and ask the Holy Spirit to teach them the meaning, instead of feeding off other bodies and bloods, they would have no need to ask any more questions from anyone about anything. The truth is ALL there.
The cultural influence of the Bible has really been an antagonist in the life of Christians. The word Christian does not mean 'Biblian'.

That is so true. Not to forget that Jesus doesn't just play a significant role in Christianity in our religion Islam Jesus is a prophet as he is in Judaism too ad although we don't believe in Jesus as the son of God does not mean we don't believe he has a significance or that we are disbelievers.

I really don't know why people are like that. They give the rest of us Christians a bad name.

I agree with them that you are confused if you don't believe, but then you probably believe the same about me in that case.

You are right. We are taught to love everybody. And God and Jesus do not hate those who do not believe. Quite the opposite in fact. God is Love.

1 John 4 v 7&8 say 'Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.'

God hates sin but loves the sinner. We should do the same.

i think weve all lost hope and due to immense society pressure and being politically correct were all having a **** time
some of us think is there really a god there as we go through so much worry and have so much anxiety
the pressures are on us to pay a bill rather than eat etc
its hard times for some regardless of religion

Christianity is Headhunters' Paradise.

There is nothing in the heart for Christians. It is all a head religion and short-circuits around mouth and ear and thick-boned skull and wagging tongue.

When Allah touches your heart you know it and the Christian cannot experience this.

Maybe they are saying "who is not with me is against me" but they are missing something. Doesn't matter your religion, try to act as a modern human being. And I don't suggest you to love your enemies. That's depends on the circumstances.

i agree, i am a christian and it really frustrates me to see other christians throwing around "god hates you if you ___" all the time. god doesnt hate anyone, he's loving and compassionate. people just use god to justify their hate. like when people say that god hates gays. its unfair and its not a good representation of true christianity.
