Jews are hated/ discriminated in such a more severe way than other minority sects?
Is it just fashionable or are there reasons?

I did not know that is the case. It seems to me that people hate/discriminate against Hispanics the most. They claim that illegal immigrant Hispanics take jobs and financial resources such as medicare and social security away from the Americans.

I do not feel that way toward Hispanics at all. That is just the attitude I see around me.

Primarily because Jews make a special attempt as a culture to remember that they are not part of the prevaling culture and that they are to remain a Holy Nation, a People Set Apart. There's this annoying tendacy of people to fear what they don't understand, and hate what they fear.

Most humans wish desperately to be part of the larger whole, whether they wish to admit it or not. So to have this small group that maintains its culture in all defiance of the concept of integration, and that has done so for millenia, leaves a lot not understood, and thus a lot feared, and thus a lot hated.

JEWS? Hey, buddy ever hear of a Muslim (besides with the usual tagline "terrorist"- 'cuz, contrary to popular belief they aren't all violent people waiting to scream Jihad at the first sign of disagreement)? The Jews (in Isreal for example) are just as discriminatory toward the Muslims as you suggested of people being against Jews- if not worse (not all Jews- just generalizing to save typing).

Who really cares who the supreme victim is anyway? Why is it that after this long, we haven't already just agreed that different people will believe different things. This is the one thought that could spell world peace for us as humans, but we can't seem to stop trying to one-up one another.

What world are you living in?

I really don't see this happening at all. There are jokes, of course, maybe you're taking them a little too seriously. I see a lot more discrimination against minority races than I do against jews. A hundered times more.
