Every thing in moderation is the key to good health...with a variety of foods.
1 Liter of milk a day if full cream over time will not only add to weight gain,BUT will present problems with chlolesterol cos of fat content, maybe if it was 2% or skim would be no problems...
If you work out or exercise hard then it it is different matter...cos body needs the vitamins and goodies milk supplies..cheers

My doctor recommends that adults drink 24 ounces (about 750ml) of lowfat or skim milk per day.
Not sure if it's bad for your health but too much milk can affect iron absorption (due to calcium in milk).
Hope that helps.
Regards,
Mari

No.
Pediatricians recommend 1 quart of milk a day for children, teenagers and women.
Milk provides calcium, protein and vitamin D.

d00d. i go through 4 gallons of milk a week. yes. i'm serious, i'm not kidding. 4 gallons. it's whole milk, too. guess what? the milkfat in whole milk actually helps you LOSE weight. yeah. lose it. and i'm healthy.
milk is a base, which means it will counter out lactic acid in your body that makes you sore after workouts. what's more, cow's milk has 96% of the essential amino acids for humans. the only single foods (as in NON-combination foods like red beans and rice, etc.) that beat that are eggs - 98% and human milk - 100% not that i endorse human milk consumption, though.

Yes, fat is good. It can be stored and burnt off. Saturated fat can't that's why it's a different catagory to fat on the back of packaging. So in conclusion...Saturated Fat is bad. It can't be burnt off that easily and it doesn't aid your body's functioning in any way. It's what makes you fat basically

Not unless it's whole milk, and you are already getting your fat calories elsewhere. It's especially good if you drink alcohol regularly, as the alcohol leaches calcium from your system.
