We all know that when you find out someone likes you, you get a little bit of an ego boost. You feel a bit on the clouds, even if you don't like them the same way.

So, I like this guy. He doesn't feel the same way. But he acts completely cocky around me. Saying to me things like "I can get p*ssy anytime and from anyone I want.." "oh, believe me, I can get laid.."

Why did he change on me? He was so sweet, which is why I liked him. Is he trying to turn me off? Did I boost his ego a bit too much? Anyone have any thoughts?

Guys who make claims of that nature OUT LOUD are extremely insecure. As to the reason he is now showing this side to you Socks, one can only imagine. Sounds to me as if you could do much better as far as possible boyfriends go. In this case, the accepted, normal response would be a favorable increase of attention toward you I think. Guys today...

Probably he was nice on the outside before you get to know him, and know you know the real him a bastard cocky dude. I think you better forget him. He is not worth anything. He can't even held a conversation with a woman.

Sounds like you have more interest in him then he you. Try backing off a bit and maybe he'll show not only more manners but more of an interest in you.

maybe he is hurt, maybe he did like you more and now he knows he messed up and he is acting out to try and hurt you a little bit, and sometimes guys do this so you will LEAVE and he will not have to see you and keep feeling the pain

of maybe he is losing it and he is a jerk....but i do not think you would hang with him if he was a jerk to begin with, so I think he is hurt...

good luck

The way to handle guys like that is to beat them at their own game. Here's how it should go:

GUY: "Oh, believe me, I can get laid."
YOU: "By anyone?"
GUY: "Yeah, anyone."
YOU: "Really? Well, I sure wouldn't lay you, so I guess that proves you wrong."

That may seem really spiteful, but guys like that are turned on by girls who can match wits with them. They see it as a challenge that they're very willing to take.

Well the truth is...
He's not just a guy... He's still a boy... testing the waters...
If and when he becomes a man he'll appreciate your attention much more...

He is trying to impress you, make you want him more. Obviously he is bluffing, he is a lonesome virgin. Just back off from him until he isnt a jerk
