It's wrong if you KNOW what they believe isn't true or wrong itself. I'm sure Hitler thought his "Third Reich" was just marvelous, made him feel good about himself
That was an extreme point; but, true.
If you knew a man was about to be hit by a bus and told him so and he didn't believe you..and was very happy in his own conviction that there was no bus and SMACK the bus hit him. It would be wrong for you not to try to help further. Certainly you wouldn't ridicule him for not seeing the bus..nor could you force him against his will to (kidnapping, holding down etc) not get hit by the bus. All you can do is try to warn people..even if they won't listen to you and honestly look for the bus.

there is not any stable study info of a correlation between bipolar affliction and "getting faith" interior the middle years. A bipolar affliction is an affective affliction (e.g., important temper swings) and isn't any longer oftentimes linked with a theory affliction or delusions except one happens to be experiencing a manic state or severe melancholy (even then no longer unavoidably). those with schizophrenia, schizo-affective affliction, and a few of you greater severe character themes (e.g., schizoid, borderline, schizotypal) could have a theory affliction, delusions, and auditory hallucinations. on occasion (yet no longer for all time), their idiosyncratic ideals have stable religious institutions. the 1st "psychotic wreck" normally happens interior the overdue childrens to early 1920s. apparently, there's a physique of study which shows a stable association between psychological wellbeing and a feeling of spirituality or faith. the real DSM IV "acid-attempt" is in regards to the outcomes. Does it inhibit or compromise social/vocational/interpersonal functioning in some significant way? If no longer, it does no longer be seen pathological. In different words, there is not any longer something inherently pathological in regards to the dazzling concept which you met an angel. the controversy to no remember in case you and thousands and thousands of theistic "others" are deluding yourselves or no longer, will probable under no circumstances be thoroughly settled. it can be much better to concentration on your point of functioning and not be too caught up in labels like "bipolar" that's oftentimes over clinically determined and we could no longer flow overboard with the belief of "magical questioning". A theory in a vist from an angel isn't adequate to qualify. (this is comming from an atheistic-leaning agnostic). Plus, all of us have some degree of magical questioning. stable success!

Not wrong at all. As far as I see it, I believe a certain thing. And it would make no sense to believe it at all if I did't see it as the truth. Everyone who believes anything should believe it fully, and be happy in the knowledge that it's the rightone. Don't do any thing half-a ssed.
