It's great you are excerising. But you ahve to balance it out with a healthy diet too. Cut out fast foods, fat, friends foods. Eat lean chicken, fruits and salads. Drink water, flavored water with no calories not sodas

I agree with the other person. If you're going to go on a diet don't do it by yourself because you might get hurt! Try the 6 wkd total body makeover!! It is taylored to your body type! Although some of the questions might be too old for you. My suggestion is to only drink waters or teas, watch your fat intake, sugar and salt! Don't add too much and also eat only what you're suppose to eat, don't over eat! And EAT BREAKFAST! If you know you're going to work out eat more protien before. A protien shake is ok, just don't overload it with sugar!! Inform yourself, visit some of your local hospital websites, they might have some tips. Also, do you know if you're healthy? You might want to let your doctor know, he'll be able to help you as well! If you go to the mall with your friends, first walk around the whole mall, you can tell them it's just to see what stores you wanna go to, but use it as your exercise! Also, don't over exersice!! Only do about 10-20 min. a day 4-5 times a week! Be careful! GOOD LUCK!

It doesn't happen overnight. I was also a size 16 and now about tight 12. I have been walking 3 or so times a week 1hr for the last 3 months.
I love soda so I have had to limit myself to 1 soda a week and its usually on the weekend. Try and eat lunch meat and cheese and limit pasta, breads, rice. Portion control is huge. Just because you are exercising doesn't mean you can eat more.
Weight loss is hard but good for you that you are working on it now.
Good Luck!!!
Just remember everyday is a new day!

nope, thats nothing to laugh at. as of today in at 155 lbs few days ago i was 158 ,about 2 months ago i was approaching 170, i've been dropping lbs since then. i'm not fat or anything but i just know thats too much weight for my height and frame because i'm 5'2". my goal is to get back to a size 7 or 8 (125-135 lbs)like i was 3 yrs ago. here's what i'm doing! i'm on phentermine pills and debating if i should get another 2 mnth supply or not. i cut back on junk food, i try to atleast eat some fruit everyday, and salad. i eat 4 or 5 times a day smaller portions for lunch and dinner .i drink lots of water everyday atleast 2 big bottles, i dont drink soda(well, once in a blue moon i might break down and have one) but if i want something sweet, i'll drink Crystal light those little packets that put in your 16 or 20 oz bottle of water and shake it up, its really good and it only has 5 calories, no sugar, it has a sub sweetener. i really havent been exercising as much as i should be. you can exercise at home just pop in a cd with some of your favorite jams, i dance to hiphop, salsa, reggae sometimes, that burns calories.pilates is a good workout, jumping rope is really good, you have to eat breakfast because its the most important meal of the day its not good to skip. if you snack in between meals eat like granola bars, celery or carrots sticks, fruit (apple, oranges, banana etc.) your body needs atleast 1500 calories to burn a day. drinking water is definetly the key( cut back on soda) Good luck!

Much of the weight you are worried about will disappear as you get older. However, in the meantime, you might want to get take vitamin E as an added supplement.
Take 400 units after breakfast and 400 units before you tuck in at night. Also, you might try taking some mineral oil. One, maybe, two teaspoons at night before getting into bed. Do not take the Vitamin E and the Mineral oil. Too much lubrication.
Your body is retaining too much food and needs to be lubricated. To concern yourself with your personal appearance is to your credit and shows you will become a very intelligent and attractive lady as you get older.
Patience is a virtue!

Hi,
I've tried all different diets, and the weight loss is only temporary. I finally tried diet pills on the market are made from Hoodia. I saw this stuff on ABC News. It's all natural and safe, and it works! My wife took it for a month and dropped 20 pounds. I took it for a month and lost about 13 (but I didn't exercise).
I bought the natural hoodia from this website: http://www.alllsite.info/free-diet-pills.php . I checked the web site address so I can post it here and I saw they're running a promotion now to get a free 2 week sample for only $4.97! I'm going to order this supply for my wife and give it to her for Christmas =)

don't starve yourself. eating 6 small meals is good for you snacking on carrots and stuff like that (no dressing) If you are working out you need to make sure that you are eating enough to create fuel for your body to maintain a healthy weight. Some people will starve themselves and excercise like crazy and never lose weight and that is because the body is storing the fat they already have. It's a survival mechanism that all humans have. Make sure you are eating enough veggies and balanced meals. If you are eating pizza everyday it's not going to help you lose weight.

Try Glucomannan. A good brand to try is Nature's Way. Take 20-60 minutes before each meal with a glass of water. Of course eat a well balanced diet.

Walk, stop drinking soda, drink water and watch your food in take. I'm 5'7 & wear a 16. I at one time got down to a 12, just by walking twice a day, no soda, and eating salads.
