OK you Made a big mistake! Not all pit bulls are mean. people think that they are really mean no matter what, but that is not true. The way u raise the pit bull determines how they turn out. u should take better care in chaining the dog up and making sure he does not get out. U may think it was the dogs fault but it was really your fault. u are responsible for the dog and YOU were the one that Let Him out in the first Place. that could have been prevented if u had been more care full. Now im guessing u have to put him down and that is just unfair to the animal. The dog does not know any Better.
U R SOOO STUPID!!!!! Oh and thanks for the points i dont know why I wasted my time on You.

Pitt bulls running off on a killing spree( it doesn't have to be rabid and wasn't if it had it's shots) is natural for that breed,This is why people like me think that pit bulls should be band. and the dam* people that ruined the breed should be incarcerated. Consider yourself lucky it was just life stock, it could have been a bunch of children at your school yard And if you think that's far fetched, read the paper and watch the news and you'll find out that pit bull attacks are becoming more and more every day. Maulings are becoming more and more every day and if some one wants to own a pit bull, that person has to be responsible for it. Don't mistake me, I'm not putting you down or judging you, Just the Pitt bull breed its self because it's usually a child that gets hurt or killed in the run away episode. Sorry about the rabies but did your Pitt bull have it's shots? you should be responsible for those as well.

if u r serious your dog needs to be put down as it will attack anything now even you and if your dog ran away and killed livestock you are at fault as you should of made sure it couldnt run away you will prob have to pay for livestock that got killed or injured and thats about $700 a head.

If you knew that your pitbull was rabid then you should have done something about it. That animal is a hazard not only to the livestock but humans, other animals and you!

It is your fault, duh! Get your animals rabies shots. Most municipalities have free clinics for just this reason and for the love of God, chain them up. People like you make people think that Pit Bulls are bad dogs, when it is not the dog, but the morons who own them. BTW, how does a pitbull kill all the livestock in a town, sounds like a load of crap to me.

doubtful.. since rabies is extremely slow moving.. your dog would have died long before the livestock even showed symtoms
anyhow any one whose dog bites any person or animal is liable for that dogs actions..
becuase the dog wasnt restrained properly..
now.. if that dog was not vaccinated for rabies, well obviously that is your fault too

I doubt this is a serious question, but the actions of a pet are the owner's responsibility. Why do you think people sue over dog bites?
