I thought you could. Maybe it's because their temperature doesn't go high enough or they're not large enough?

because a toaster oven does not look like a TV and a Micro wave does.
Also the TV dinners are designed for microwave cooking,with plastic

If you like burned or melted plastic go ahead use the toaster oven

Because they are already cooked...all you are doing is heating them up...and the heatwave of the microwave is just right...to not make them burn or over cook...a toaster oven would be to hot ...and probably wouldn't cook right
