A girl and a boy talk on the internet only. boy has a girlfriend. Boy and girl are chatting on internet about having sex with eachother. is it cheating?

It's definitely one of those things that if your bf or gf saw they would be pretty mad. I f you feel like you need to keep it a secret, it probably isn't right.

Acid Test for "Is it cheating?": Would Boy talk to Girl on the Internet about having sex with each other if Girlfriend was sitting next to him reading what they were writing? No?
Then it's cheating.

It's emotional cheating. Some will it's not the same thing. But it really depends on what the girlfriend thinks. Now if you go and do have sex, then you already know the answer to that one, don't you?

there is a fine line with stuff like that when it comes to cheating. Ask yourself, how would you feel if your girlfriend was doing the same thing. I feel it is cheating becasue you are talking about having sex with each other.

Anytime people are talking about having sex with each other, that would be a sign that they want to be together sexually. I would consider this to be cheating because they are talking of have intercourse and talking turns into kissing, kissing turns into touching, touching turns into SEX (and everyone knows having sex with someone other than your boyfriend / girlfriend is not right).

I don't think I would define it as cheating, but it's wrong and "boy" needs to aske himself why he's doing this instead of talking to girlfriend

Yes...no matter if it is physical or not the intent is there!!! If you are even thinking of cheating on your significant other, it = to cheating!! and if you actually follow through with it....well then you are in deep @#$%
