s it okay for Jews to say "Jesus Christ!!" when they are surprised?

oh, come on ....... i'm a muslim and i say that many times when surprised - the effect of watching movies, i guess

It's a common expression and has no religious meaning. I'm a Humanist, and I say it, but I'm trying to wean myself from swearing. It's bad form and not very respectful of my Christian neighbors and their beliefs.

That is still taking the Lord's name in vain, even if the one who says it doesn't ascribe Him as Lord.
