Creation is a process, so I assume that you are asking by what process was God made. I will try not give the obvious answer - that would serve no purpose. Okay, what you are saying is that there needs to be a process by which someone or something is made. Assuming this, it follows that there must be a process by which you were made. If it wasn't God, who was it. If you claim the universe began with the big bang and that humans are the end product of evolution, you believe in a process. I assume that your question is rhetorical, and you believe that the answer is obvious: God could not exist unless some process caused Him to exist, that there could be no such process, and therefore, God cannot exist. Following the same logic, it is just as valid to say that we couldn't exist because there would have to be a process to cause our existence. The logic fails. So if this is your reason for not believing in God, you no longer have a reason for it.

a good answer I heard... God exists outside of time, so its not logical to ask about a starting an an end. Outside of time everthing happens all at once... this is not understanable from our perspective, but all that ever existed always has been and always will be because time is not relevant ( including us, but that is a different discussion)....
anyway, all the best.

No one. Sound irrational?
Well then, try this one on for size. Scientists now believe that the big bang was just one in an endless series of big bangs... that the universe has existed endlessly; that it's eternal.
I don't see a conceptual difference between "How could God be eternal?" and "How could the universe be eternal"?

You used the word created. That is past tense. God is transcendent of all time.

God is not temporal.
He created the time/space/matter dimension, and is not confined by its properties.
Because he exists outside the limitations of a time/space/matter dimension, time is an irrelevant property that has no impact on HIm.
He had no "beginning", that's a temporal concept.

No one. God always was, always is and always is to come. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. God is not bound by time or space as we limited humans are.
