He likes book stores, thank heaven, but is there anything else an aging aunty can do to make his visit enjoyable?

careful, just because he likes the book store doesnt mean hes not trying to access the XXX pages, watch out that he doesnt

Take him bowling. Go to any local amusement parks. An aquarium. A museum directed towards teens. Buy him a video game. Get him some kind of toy that he can use his hands to play with -- boys like hands-on activities. Let him stay up late. Take him out to dinner someplace that has games like Dave & Buster's, Gameworks, or something similar. You can always ask him what he was thinking of doing while he's visiting. Just keep in mind that his mind is very active so to prevent him being bored and disliking his visit, keep him active.

My nephew is 14 and he is into skateboarding and lots of sports. If I do not take him out to do things to keep him busy he is on the Internet IM'ing all of his little chica's - LOL

thats different all my 14 year old guy friends could think about was sex....
well i do know that MOST 14 year olds like video games, and t.v.
why dont you take him out to a movie??

Theres skating rink, mall guys love to check girls at the mall or just try asking him but ill go with the mall

Keep him indulged in sporty time-passes, take him bowling, movies, geez so many things u can keep him busy enjoyin with.
