ENT - Ear, Nose and Throat (a.k.a. Otolaryngologist)

Typically, nasal sprays are prescribed. They may also want to take x-rays or a CT scan of the sinuses. Sometimes there are surgical options.

My husband had to have sinus surgery and he went to an ear nose and throat specialist.
I personally have a lot of problems with allergies, and sinus infections continuously. His dr. recommended something called NeilMed's Sinus Rinse. I know you can get it online and at most drug stores, but follow the directions and you will be amazed. It doesn't burn or hurt, it's a little weird but the bottle forces the saline solution up one nostril while you're leaning forward over a sink or bathtub and it runs out the other side. You will continue to have stuff come out hours later, it's great for relieving that pressure. I have been using it whenever I start to feel the pressure and I haven't had a sinus infection since. I was going to the dr every month for more antibiotics! This stuff is wonderful!!

Try some apple cider vinegar mixed with some water and a little honey if you cant stand the taste, about 2 tablespoons a couple of times a day, I too had terrible sinus pain and manage it this way, everytime it looks like I might get a sinus infection or something I take this and it nips it in the bud, also garlic tablets are good, hope this works for you, since I have been doing it I have never had a sinus infection since, it is also good for you as well.
