Well, it's been my experience it depends on the cat. Books say its supposed to be 3-4 months but we had a cat that was pregnant for over 5 months. Then again, with felines who go outdoors, its sometimes hard to figure out when they got pregnant so the pregnancy time may seem shorter or longer than 3-4 months.

No it is NOT the same as a human....not even close. A cats gestation is between 63 and 65 days.

It is normally around 63 to 65 days but according to a website that I found, it can also be as short as 57 days or as long as 70 days.
