I have lost 47 pounds since summer but I have to say that lately I have just stopped trying. I guess most if it has to do with 1) I am not use to the attention that people are now giving me now...like i don't wanna let someone down if i gain weight again...and also 2) I feel like I had an excuse before if someone rejected me. I could always say...must have been the weight.....what do i do if someone rejects me and i an thin?

Anyone else lose a large amount of weight and go through the same feelings?

Yeah I know where you are coming from...I have lost 65lb since July 1st this year. Mind you I still have a long way to go...;

If you are going to lose weight, you have to do it for yourself and not for everybody else. If you carry the weight of everyone else's emotions on your shoulders then you will surely fail, but losing weight because you want too will be less stressful. For the second question, it is in human nature to reject people. If someone rejects you, you should just move on with your life and know in your heart that you are much better off without them. Your life should not be based upon the need to be accepted by others, but by the need to be accepted by yourself. Peace out, and congradulations for losing 47 pounds.

First of all, if you are dating someone I would hope they liked you for you and not what you are on the outside. So don't worry about letting someone down if you gain weight.
Second, you need to work on the ole self esteem and not be concerned that you will be rejected before you even meet someone. If you are rejected they don't deserve your attention.
Love yourself, head held high, and believe that you are worth the attention of others.

I've lost 25lbs. I'm thrilled about it and up for losing 10 more. I'm going to do it too!
