Yes more than frowning.
Try this it was invented by a dietician for obese people who need an operation in two weeks time.
There is enough for one week so freeze half freshly made to last the week.
I cheated and did it for a whole month every other month went from a 40in waist to a 32in without to much effort.
Operation Soup
Ingredients.
3 large onions
1 large or two small green peppers
1 bunch of celery
½ head of green cabbage
1 leek
2 tin chopped tomatoes
1 packet of French onion soup (any brand)
3 vegetable stock cubes (I use oxo)
Cut all vegetables into bite size pieces if your not going to liquidize.
Place all in a large pot add enough water to cover.
Simmer until vegetables are cooked add more water if necessary.
NOTE
To be eaten as a two meal replacement (largest and the smallest).
You can still have a light lunch or light evening meal.
Should not exceed 5 days at a time and 10 days a month.
You will pass more water so make sure you keep up your water intake.

Everything you do burns calories; just blinking your eyes, or even sleeping, requires calories. Some activities burn more calories than others, of course; a long-distance runner is going to burn a lot more than someone who sits at a desk all day. I once heard someone who was a fitness-guru type answer a question, "What is the best exercise?" - his answer struck me as the most sensible I'd ever heard, because he said, "The one that you will DO." Choose something that you'll do, and do it - that's the first step.

Im sure it does, however, a VERY small amount. If your looking to lose weight I suggest not troubeling your mind with things such as "callories" or anything of the such. Instead I suggest good old fashioned exercise and eating healthy. Dont eat fast food and junk food all the time, eat salad's and fruits and vegetables a few times a day (I dont mean each). Go on a jog around the block or something. When you feel the exercise is not troubeling you and you can do it with a fair amount of ease then push yourself a little further and repeat the process but dont push yourself too far and please for you own sake and for the sake of everyone around you do NOT become belemic or annorexic.

Laughing DOES burn calories. But you need to do more than that to lose weight.

i think i burned a few calories just by reading this question lol
Everything we do that expends energy causes us to burn calories even things you wouldn't typically expect such as sleeping or sitting down and watching TV however if you consume more calories than you burn it wont be noticeable so really and truly in addition to laughing you may want to consider a change in your diet and an increase in exercise - once you do you'll see results and it'll give you something to smile if not laugh about.

Maybe not but it makes you feel good when you do laugh right. You can try a few simple rules if you want to take off a few pounds, like:
Drink a glass of water before your meal this will help you to feal full, it can also be a glass of juice.
Never eat junk food like chips or cheezies, air puffed pop corn is ok in moderation with no butter on it.
Lessen your salt intake, and don't eat anything past 8:00 pm. Good luck. Walking is the best exercise you can do, as is swimming.
